Thanks to innovative activated carbon membrane technology, chlorine, pesticides, medication residues, hormone-like substances, heavy metals, as well as bacteria and microplastics are reliably reduced by up to 99.99% (at a flow rate of 2 l/min). A higher flow rate is possible. The filter unit operates with almost no pressure loss, making it suitable not only for pressure pumps but also ideal for systems with submersible pumps.

3-stage technology for the highest water purity

The Reinguard water filter combines three highly effective mechanisms to guarantee you safely treated drinking water at all times:

1. Mechanical Filtration: The precise, fine-pored membrane acts as a physical barrier and reliably retains particles larger than the pore size. These include in particular bacteria, parasites, rust particles, sand, and microplastics, as well as other disturbing suspended solids.

2. Catalytic Water Purification: Certain dissolved substances, such as chlorine and volatile organic compounds (VOCs), are converted by catalytic processes. This leads to a significant improvement in the smell and taste of your water, without significantly consuming the activated carbon.

3. Adsorptive Activated Carbon Filtration: The extremely large internal surface area of the specialized activated carbon binds even the smallest dissolved pollutants such as pesticides, heavy metals, and hormone and medication residues. The innovative, membrane-like structure ensures optimized water flow and maximizes contact time with the filter medium for thorough purification.

goodguards® KEIMGUARD

The KEIMGUARD offers maximum safety and durability in water disinfection. Thanks to its extremely compact design (16.1 cm x 4.1 cm), it can be easily retrofitted into existing systems. The ideal installation location for optimal disinfection is immediately before the water tap. At a flow rate of 2 l/min, up to 99.9999% of E. coli bacteria are neutralized. (A larger water flow rate is possible.) The maintenance-free UVC LEDs have an impressive lifespan of up to 10,000 hours.

The goodguards® Keimguard relies on state-of-the-art physical disinfection using specialized UVC LEDs. With a precise wavelength of 265 nm, the system highly efficiently inactivates microorganisms by specifically damaging the DNA and RNA of bacteria, viruses, and protozoa and preventing their reproduction.

This specific wavelength lies exactly in the range of the absorption maximum of nucleic acids, which maximizes the disinfection performance compared to conventional methods. The process is purely physical and completely dispenses with the use of chemicals. This preserves the natural composition and the unadulterated taste of your water at all times – for maximum safety with every sip.
